I would NEVER recommend this restaurant. The owner, or who I presume to be the owner, is downright rude and does not deserve to have people frequent his restaurant. To begin with, as of the date that I am writing this, be aware that the prices that are listed on their website or not accurate. Apparently, they don’t have access to or just have not updated any of the prices. That being said, I had to order two kosher meals to have available for my son’s bar mitzvah reception. I went on the website, picked out what I wanted and called up and placed my order to pick up the Friday morning before the Mitzvah. I was requested to come before 11:15, and I let them know I would be coming at 9:15. When I got there, everything was packed up and ready to go. The lady who I spoke with a few times was adding up my order and it was significantly higher than what I had anticipated. I asked her why and she showed me the menu and the prices of at least one of the items was about $11 or $12 higher than what it was online. I ordered two of those items so you’re talking approximately $22-$25 difference. I pulled out my phone to show her what it said online as I was very confused. I never once told them that I was not going to pay for the food. As I was in the middle of discussing it with the lady, the owner walks over, takes the food away, and tells me I am not getting it. Keep in mind, I was not even having a conversation with him. I then told him, that I was going to pay for the food, I was just questioning the amount. He would not budge. I’ll be honest, I don’t remember much of what he said as I was getting extremely angry at that point. I tried to explain to him again, that I needed the food, for my brother and another guest who kept kosher, for the following evening. That I wanted to pay for the food, and that I was just questioning the price because it was different than what I had originally anticipated. He still refused to let me purchase the food that I had already ordered and they had already made for me and packed up. Thankfully, we were able to secure two kosher meals from someone else that were delivered directly to my venue that Friday afternoon.

There was absolutely no justification for what he did. I was not arguing, I was not yelling, and I surely was not being disrespectful at the time that he decided not to allow me to purchase the food. Admittedly, the yelling , disrespect and swearing did follow, but that was after I repeatedly asked to purchase it and he steadfastly refused to allow me to do so.
